Kurt’s Mile High Malt* – Vienna Lager with Coffee – 6.0% ABV
A lager brewed with coffee using a recipe built by Kurt Vonnegut’s grandfather who was a brewer in Austria and opened Indianapolis Brewery (closed due to Prohibition). The first batch of this beer was brewed in 1996 and again in 2007 as a tribute to Kurt’s passing, but this fan and staff favorite comes out of the vault on a regular basis. 2023 Great American Beer Festival Silver Medal Winner in the Coffee Beer category.
