We're kicking off our Crafting Outside the Lines series with a Denver artist and curator who shares our passion for community and making old, new again.
We at Wynkoop Brewing Company like to forge our own paths. From opening Colorado’s first brewpub in LoDo back when it was a ghost town, to brewing out-there beers with just about any ingredients that sounded interesting. We’ve always done our own thing – crafting outside the lines – and we’re proud of it. We know there are a lot of folks in Denver who share that same spirit, and we think they deserve some props. That’s why, every so often, we’ll be shining a light on Denver creators who share our affinity for bending the rules.
Brett has spent the last 20 years developing a style for contemporary art and design that is uniquely repurposed, environmentally and socially conscious with an experimental soul. Brett continues to evolve, pushing paint, ink, digital transfer, and laser etching on post-industrial wood to new sculptural, conceptual, and politically challenging depths.
