SUMMARY:Todd's Tappings - Colfax Hipster
DESCRIPTION:BEER NAME:\nColfax Hipster – Double Hazy IPA – 8.3% \n\nIf this beer was a car\, it would be a Toyota Tacoma with a “NATIVE” sticker\, dirty from the last snowfall but they won’t wash it off because it looks like they drove it in the mountains.  The only summited for that pile of snow in the parking lot to get the newest hype beer.  Brewed in collaboration with Mirror Image and craft brewing lab Fermly\, we took a scientific approach using thiolized yeast grown by Propagate Labs and all the hipster hops including Bru-1\, Trident\, Azacca\, Chinook\, El Dorado\, and Citra. \n\nWe will also be getting 8 kegs of a collab we did with Bent Barley Brewing Co.  This was brewed at their place and is based on their recipe so I don’t know the name but I will send that info over as soon as I get it.

DESCRIPTION:BEER NAME:\nJust A Wee Bit – Irish Red – 5.5% ABV \n\nWe have something waiting at the end of the rainbow\, and it’s a pint full of beer goodness. We brewed our version of an Irish Red Ale with a variety of malts\, including malts that came from the British Isles. Once fermentation was finished\, we added an American touch by dry-hopping it just a wee bit with noble hops from Europe. Sláinte!

The first batch of this beer was brewed in 1996 and again in 2007 as a tribute to Kurt’s passing.  A staff and fan favorite\, we can’t help but keep brewing it.

DESCRIPTION:BEER NAME:\nSport Mode – Berliner Weisse – 7.2% ABV \n\nWe took our hefeweizen\, turned its hat backwards\, and put it into Sport Mode by souring it.  In the 1800s\, this tart wheat ale was the most popular alcoholic drink in Berlin but now only a few breweries produce it. Typically a lower alcohol beer\, we cranked the ABV up to make it go faster.
