Beer Pioneers

Since our start way back in 1988, Wynkoop Brewing Company has been a pioneer on the American beer landscape. We were the first brewpub in the now beer-rich, craft beer heaven of Colorado.

Our thirst for beers beyond the status quo led us to hand craft porters, meads and cask-conditioned beers (we were cask when cask wasn’t cool) and other current craft beer fixtures that beer lovers had never tasted before.
